2024 Presidential Election Cycle in Amerika: Abolishing the Electoral College

There are numerous radical left policy issues on the table that threaten your lives, freedoms, civil liberties, and inalienable rights enshrined in the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights. Foremost on my radar is a threat to eliminate the Electoral College vote if Harris and Walz waltz into the White House after the November presidential election with assistance from Deep State blobsters that fear Kamala’s unwinding. That was the final point made when Elon Musk educated Don Lemon about how the illegal alien invasion will prejudice elections and the Electoral College going forward. He also suggested on numerous occasions and during a recent interview with Tucker Carlson that “if Trump doesn’t win this election, it’s the last election we’re going to have” due to single-party rule and no swing states if the misrepresentation of our voting populace continues the current trajectory.

The Democratic Party has become wildly hypocritical as it systematically ignores and/or eliminates legal democratic functions within our republic’s bureaucracy while promoting political violence and dehumanizing language. It does this while publicly claiming that conservatives are extremists and a “threat to democracy.” That uncouth mindset occurred last month when Hillary penned an article in the Washington Post noting her “basket of deplorables” comment in 2016 was “too kind” and ordered the media to “stick with” propaganda and a narrative that Trump is a “dangerous demagogue.”

Do not dismiss the fact that Harris was undemocratically installed by an oligarchy as the new presidential candidate via the DNC and she colluded in removing Biden from elected nominee status via single-party rule without a primary voting process. Where exactly is all the democracy and “joy?” You are guaranteed to get more duplicitous behavior, misinformation, disinformation, malinformation, fake news, Marxist fiscal and social strategies, and flip-flopping on the campaign promises coopted from Trump’s previous and current platform if Harris and Walz are elected. She openly admitted on The View this week that she has no regrets and won’t do anything different than what her and Biden have done since their inauguration in Jan. 2021.

Before exploring the history and why we have an Electoral College process for presidential elections, consider the following quotes and videos, especially Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s censorship testimony on Capitol Hill:

Peter Doocy brought receipts to hit back against the White House’s ‘misinformation’ claims against him – Fox News (video), Oct. 8

Jesse Watters: Criticizing your government on FEMA’s response to Hurricane Helene is not misinformation – Fox News (video), Oct. 9

“The legacy media refuses to recognize the hateful rhetoric from the Left. Instead, they find the ‘one-off’ conservative who says something mild, and act like the sky is falling and every one of us are that way. That is why Leftists call us all racist, uneducated, yada-yada. I am a conservative Native American educated woman, Catholic, not racist, and I’m voting for Trump. I believe (from seeing with my own eyes and hearing with my own ears) Democrats are racist, misogynists, misandrists, have succumbed to educational indoctrination, xenophobic, anti-Semitic, anti-Christianity, anti-family, and simply hatefully miserable all the way around.” – @CreasonJana, Oct. 10

Rigging the 2024 Election?… “Many may assume that Donald Trump is the first to claim the election of 2020 was rigged. In fact, charges of stolen presidential elections are not as rare in American history as one may assume. Hillary Clinton convinced 70% of Democrats that Russia rigged the 2016 election as payback for her interference in the 2000 Russian election. Historically, four candidates were associated with claims of rigged elections – Al Gore, who went to the Supreme Court, Andrew Jackson, Richard Nixon, and Donald Trump.” – Armstrong Economics, Oct. 10

Obama claims black men opposed to her ‘aren’t feeling the idea of having a woman as president…  “‘You’re coming up with all kinds of reasons and excuses,’ the former president said of the lack of enthusiasm for Harris’ candidacy from some black men. ‘I’ve got a problem with that.’” – New York Post, Oct. 11

“Trump is ‘recruiting men to fascism,’ and they all need therapy.” – MSNBC (video) Oct. 11

Harris and Walz are both in the same Deep State camp to abolish the Electoral College process despite their campaign’s effort to distance itself from blunders on the campaign trail or statements on record from the past. Walz attended a California fundraiser this week where he said, I think all of us know the Electoral College needs to go.” As Minnesota’s governor, he signed a law in May 2023 to join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, an agreement in which each state will allocate all its electoral votes to whoever wins the popular vote for president no matter how individual states voted. It has already been enacted into law by 17 states and Washington, D.C., with 209 electoral votes. It requires an additional 61 electoral votes to go into effect since it requires 270 total. In 2019, Harris noted on an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live that she was open to the discussion of abolishing the Electoral College. In a republic the populace is equally represented vs. a mob majority that rules a democracy.

“There’s no question that the popular vote has been diminished in terms of making the final decision about who’s the president of the United States, and we need to deal with that, so I’m open to the discussion.” – CNN, Oct. 8

Walz has made it crystal clear that his administration would seek to dismantle the Electoral College, which reflects Harris’ Marxist philosophy she often repeats emphatically at campaign events: what can be unburdened by what has been.”

“The Electoral College is outlined in Article II, Section 1 of the United States Constitution. The system was tinkered with in the Twelfth and Twenty-Third Amendments which changed how the vice president is chosen and gave the District of Columbia as many electors as the least populous state respectively. Each state is assigned a number of electors based on the combined number of seats in the Senate and House of Representatives they have, which in turn is based on their population. This ranges from 3 in small states like South Dakota and Wyoming, to 55 in California and 38 in Texas, for a total of 538 for the country.

Each state is tasked with setting up a method for selecting these electors and determining how they will vote. In the majority of states, it is a winner takes all system. The two major parties are allowed to elect the number of electors the state is allotted. Whichever candidate wins the popular election in that state, the electors of that party cast their ballots in the national election. However, in two states the method is different.

In Maine and Nebraska, the electors are divided up by congressional district. Whichever candidate receives the majority of votes in the individual congressional districts is awarded a vote for that district and whoever wins the majority of the state is awarded the two votes. These votes are for the senate seats, which are ‘at-large’ districts, meaning they cover the ‘entire state.

No matter the system, this means that a candidate can lose the popular election, but still win the presidency. The most recent occurrence of this was in the 2016 presidential election, where Donald Trump won the presidency with a majority of the electoral votes, but a minority of popular votes.

There is also no law that forces an elector to vote for the candidate he or she has pledged to vote for. In other words, a delegate chosen by the Democratic Party could, if he or she so chose, vote for a candidate other than the Democratic candidate, or vice versa. This has very rarely occurred, but it is possible.” – Bill of Rights Institute

Why the Electoral College is so Important… “Without the balancing effect of the electoral college, a few densely populated urban areas across the country would be determining the outcome of a presidential election for all of us. Consequently, if the electoral college is abolished or a change is made to the way electoral votes are distributed, then the wishes of rural Americans and will effectively no longer be considered. Moreover, the desire of America’s Founders to ensure the voices of all Americans and the interests of every state remain equally important would be circumvented.

Aside from the fact that there are valid and practical reasons for the Electoral College system, there are other pragmatic reasons for maintaining the status quo. First of all, if we had a pure popular vote system, as many on the Left are now proposing, it would become quite difficult—because of third-party (and more) candidates—to ensure that any candidate would win a popular majority. For example, in the election of President Clinton in 1992, Clinton received a majority of electoral votes and was elected president. However, he only received a plurality – 43% – of the popular vote, and Ross Perot, a third-party candidate, received almost 19%. President Clinton did not win a majority of the popular vote in the 1996 election either, but because he won an Electoral College majority, he was elected President of the United States both times.

This raises the question: What would happen if we did away with the Electoral College and instead implemented a system whereby a person could win the presidency with a plurality of the popular vote? If this were to occur, every special interest group would have their own candidate, and the field of candidates would be enormous. Thus, EVERY election year would be utter chaos.” – The Family Foundation

The border crisis enabled by Biden and Harris has allowed millions of illegal immigrants to transform our entire country into a border state, manifested an “illegal voter importation” agenda that could translate into 13 new congressional districts and flip swing states, and the Department of Justice further exposed the weaponization of government this week when it sued Virginia over removing non-citizens from voter roles ahead of the November election. There is no conspiracy theory here if you choose to acknowledge what’s happening in small town America, sanctuary cities, and major metropolitan areas controlled by a wicked political bureaucracy. The same people who demanded that you have a vaccine ID to travel are now demanding that there be no voter ID for voting.
